Nike is not doing well. Of course they have to lay people off. It's fine. You are fine. You will all be better for whatever happens. Stop giving your power away

Are you under the impression that we work on an assembly line and the only time work is done is during “work hours”?

first off, decisions are already made.

Second, this is the type of pep talk no one asked for. READ THE ROOM and do something to add value to the team. What you posted OP, is not it.

Also severance usually doesn't cover the time it takes to get a job in this economy, and Nike isn't doing that bad with the best margins in the industry.

I'm stoked to be in the office to create value for the shareholders. It's what I dreamed about as a kid. Those shareholders making millions ( selling options before before the announcement) is what we need to worry about.
The shareholders! Think about them man.
