Thread regarding Ford layoffs

4th Quarter EV Sales -26k

Ford reported record EV sales for 4th quarter, 26,000 units. Ford loses $40,000 for each EV produced. This will be a $1 billion loss for 4th quarter.

This has been the trend since 2022. Looking forward to another $4 billion loss in 2024.

Add that $4B to the $3B loss every year from Ford Next and we’re talking some real money. Just think of the increase in our bonus if we weren’t dragging EVs and Ford Next along…
