when the company that would become L3 Harris expanded into new areas of defense work, the company leaders underestimated the skill set required to complete the work and the complexity of the work itself. applying cookie cutter methodologies combined with dei hiring has created a dysfunctional organization. while some problems may be attributed to supply chain issues related to the pandemic, the company's core problem lies within its Florida leadership. d e i does not and cannot replace true talent or skill. the leadership that was responsible for these hires is quietly and systematically being replaced. the question remains, will this new leadership be better or worse? the elephant in the room still remains dei hires and what to do with them. ultimately, the investors will be the ones to decide. since money is the root of all decisions, if you were hired because of reasons other than merit. then the cracking sound you hear is the thin ice under your feet. and as an investor, and former employee, I think it's about time.

I don't know where you work but at my L3H site I'm in the minority as a white man but this site has been that way forever. My coworkers are hard working and get sh-t done. I could give you anecdotes of my previous employers like "the guy who faked data" or "the one who worked on high voltage equipment without turning it off" but they were white guys like me.
DEI has nothing to do with being a good fit for the job. I feel like threads like are for guys that like to complain that you can't use politically incorrect jokes at work anymore. I'm sorry that being a white man isn't a pass for us anymore; put in the work to keep up or move on to somewhere else because I don't want to work with you.
dump your stock in this and other DEI companies. d e i employees simply can't do the work. that is a fact.
