It seems like we are all mostly useless overhead. Are we all going to be toast? Had anyone heard anything?

@1gxr+1qy1VPuL I hope you are being sarcastic. Then again maybe not. There is always a little bit of truth in sarcasm.
I see that Accenture is pushing its AI banking model at Davos. The question is where will this transformation take place at Wells? -- in HY, in the hubs, in India/Philippines, in CA. Or will Wells lag and wait to see what JPM does? Now that Wells is firmly in the cloud I am sure it will transfer to AI with ease (my sarcasm....)
“India is light years ahead of US in technology”? Troll.
Look up average IQ in US and average IQ in India.
Whomever posted tech is way ahead in India than usa...you are an id--t. Majority of India still in 3rd world conditions. Mumbai has some nice cool stuff but people there are brainwashed to think they are superior in tech when Americans train them.
They will find and implement a new AI/Service Now "banking business model" with built-in control. Of course, this will be done offshore since India is light years ahead of the US in technology
It's not like control teams do anything useful anyways
Oh man, I haven't had toast in a while.
They don't need to be competent, if they are an excuse to fire an American, they've done their job in Shart's eyes. Ramifications are for the next CEO to worry about. Shart couldn't care less.
Control roles in India and Philippines have been ramping up for the past 2 years and they have a significant # of control people already there. Granted, most are completely useless, but nonetheless the bodies are already there. No doubt that US Control will be whittled down. Sadly, the days of India and Philippines getting their direction and to do tasks from the US teams is coming to an end. This is beyond cost cutting and it's disgusting. CS is selling out WF and US employees.
I don’t understand have risk, compliance roles in a foreign county.
A rock is cheaper in India than a rock in the US.
Most jobs will be in India.
Slowly being terminated, once cap cleared, full speed ahead downsizing and move to India. Already seeing India ramp up. Soon, you report there.
We already have control team members in India.
Jobs will go to India.
