Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Get rid of the cancerous executives!!!

Verizon used to be an untouchable wireless company "the big red" working for Verizon was amazing! Everyone had pride working for Verizon. Then Lowell retired and it slowly went to sh%#!! Once Hans came over Verizon signed their death note! When they changed over to a one team structure Hans was clearly on a mission to get rid of all the top performers out of the store. And still the numbers reflect unrealistic expectations with a quarter of what the pay used to be... those ID--TSSSSS in the office clearly don't understand how a sales driven company is run. You need top performing sales reps to drive the sales force!! You need a healthy blend of sales reps to drive store traffic!! Sales reps are motivated off commission and incentives!!

Lowell started the downfall by not bidding on 600mhz low band 5g that T-Mobile snatched up and not building out FiOS . Other failures include hiring m-a-r-n-I and buying aol and yahoo.

Unprecedented damage. Unthinkable. Unrepairable. And many innocent individuals have had to pay the price for these strategic mistakes -- employees, customers, shareholders, and worst of all, benefitted the VZ competitors get stronger by taking away VZ's lunch.

Lowell was the worst of the worst and the fourth-string on the bench. He got the job by default and his actions proved it. Lowell and Hans have done incredible damage to the company and brand.

Problem is the wireline managers are infiltrating wireless and have been for 10 years but moreso of late. Many have no clue how the wireless business was built and how it is sustained. The wireline except for FIOS which should have been more aggressivey expanded but wasn't, was run into the ground. Result is disastrous decisions were made that put VZW behind the eight ball vis a vis its competitiors. It has taken 3 years to get the battleship turning the right way. Hans shouldve been fired 2 years ago. He must have a severance that incents the BoD to keep him on. He ran Ericsson into the ground. VZ has just plain made some very bad decisions.

If you sell wireline/backbone what is wireless going run on? Cell business has basically maxed out as maybe some new customer/ business replacing those that are leaving or die off. VZ need to find a new niche and become a leader vs a follower in Telecom.

Just sell the wireline and let's gets some fresh people at the top to continue to build off wireless. Let wireline be sold to brightspeed there's a bunch of verizon rejectx there already I'm sure Hv has and will get a cushy Seat at the board. Separate wireline has like 25,000 union people left by 26 we will have 20,000 with 2 more EIPP IN PLACE. Just understand as much hate as you like there WILL BE ANOTHER CONTRACT SIGNED but unfortunately we will be sold off with the contract. Source trust me bro
