Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Why isn't Jim Farley being fired?

If the company failed to meet objectives, and so many lower level employees are being forced to take performance downgrades due to senior executive failure.........why are they not being shown the door? They ate the ones that make the directional decisions. Demand catastrophic program decisions that have caused epic quality problems. And waste corporate money on fly by night projects and travel. A GSR or LL6 can't change or stop anything. These higher ups should all be fired.

How leadership levels don’t get a revamp. Would save the company lots more money taking care of the and apples and tricking some of that wealth to those deserving to improve morale, performance, and the belief that working hard gets you far

DF isn't a visionary. The visionary at Apple was Steve Jobs. Not DF.

The ultimate low is that in a move to increase his bonus, Farley directed that performance reviews of salaried employees be deliberately & ficticiously derated in order to further reduce their already pitiful performance bonuses, which are a part of overall compensation which is no longer market competitve. Generally salaried GSR employees who work weekday and weekend overtime for no pay and jump through hoops to meet unrealistic expectations in many instances receive less than 50% of hourly employees who have zero accountability. Farley & BFJr need to go. For 2+yrs the stock has tanked, yet these bozos remain.

While JF is a great leader, we need to pivot to a true visionary like DF to lead the company at this point.

JF got us through the pandemic very well, and now we are in a growth and transformation phase. DF would be the better choice to take the company to the next level now.

Ever notice how many DEI are in management?

A certain airline manufacturer is heavy into DEI and outsourcing to LCC. Missing bolts on an inverted delta part And you thought Ford was bad.

Toyota is sure glad Farley is gone. He was responsible for the Scion brand debacle.

JF this week talking about lack of quality for the past 3 years was hilarious

This is how you improve quality: Randomly fire older employees with battle scars so you don’t have to pay their pensions and make those left take more and more abstract “quality” training.

Funny that “diversity” at Ford doesn’t seem to include age.

Because they’re in powere and you’re not.

That’s how governments and political parties work too.

There is lack of accountability all over the place. JF this week talking about lack of quality for the past 3 years was hilarious, same with Baumbick. How long have they been top leadership at the company again? Yup.
