"Having been laid off from here before"
Why do you keep coming back for more? I noticed that's a thing at Cisco and I will never understand it. I'll never drink this Kool aid. There's too many better companies out there for that.
You get a kick in the pants and about three-fiddy.

8 weeks + PTO + 1 week per year (year 10-19) + 2 weeks per year (year 20+)
If they don’t pay the bonuses to those that are laid off and you are still working then you should immediately jump ship and don’t look back. That will be the final nail in the coffin for many.
If you voluntarily take the 3 months + 1 month in "lieu of pay" can you apply for and get unemployment starting the 4th month? Or will you be ineligible because officially you resigned?
Otherwise, what do you do? Continue to get "paid" and just sit around on the org chart for 3 months and then file for unemployment?
Which option is worse for Cisco?
Having been laid off from here before, it depends on tenure. If you have shorter time, standard is usually 3 months + 1 month in lieu of pay. When I was laid off back in 2018, I was still able to get my bonus but it looks like if rumors are true, it's happening right before bonuses.
$1.25
This is what I want to know. Fingers crossed it's a good one.
