CX Services at least is revenue generating (BCS, CMS, etc. the old advanced and professional services) — the function I would be concerned is Customer Success since all they don’t care is the success of our customers but to look good on paper only instead. That whole org and team is a joke!

Au revoir Mon Cher!

Services are dwindling so they will be cut.

I would not be surprised if they move some of the Sales activities to virtual and push more to the partner to reduce the number of expensive headcounts.

Delaying 5 months to start the new year is possible, but bleeding $$ for 5 more months is too tough.

I don’t think whole regions and areas are going to collapse there’s no way all this is going to happen if notices are going out next week. It’s such a heavy lift to change account hierarchy at this point in the year keep in mind sales layoffs last time were a couple months later than the rest of Cisco because they had to prepare. Also, FY25 planning is happening right now and wouldn’t make sense for that to continue if that was the case. Unless they will push layoffs for sales later, don’t see it being such a dramatic shift when there was already one not that long ago especially on such short notice.

Merging of accounts, regions, areas... Everything will be track for activities and performance. This will be a new world.

Selling to one customer in the U.S is same effort selling to 4 customers in Canada. Most Cisco revenue coming from sales in the U.S

Current market is customers are buying solutions from cisco competitors, many customers even buying palo alto for their sdwan solutions.

Once Cisco not able to sell in U.S, it's finished.

CX is like a cancer or weed. Spreading everywhere and provide no values except for lip service. That is why politics works, because CX and MM is great at it.

I have met CX Directors that should be at a contributor at best. Clueless and valueless. Unsure how this org survive that long.

Underperforming regions and areas will see cut appropriately. More accounts per Sales team to help with the headcount reduction.

CX might have many people, but these people are outside of united states in Bangalore and Mexico. Cisco is paying people based on location.
