I had similar experiences with different Uber drivers while taking Uber in the Bay area. Very nice people in the Bay area.
The middle-aged driver for my Uber ride from SJC to Milpitas told me that he used to be a manager at Cisco. I had wished him the best of luck. When he was again my Uber driver a year later, I had no words.
