Mid year bonus

If at all they are given out, would LR'd folks receive mid year bonus since they would have completed the first half of fiscal year ?

Look in the P&LI documentation, there is a date specified in there. From memory it’s a week after the earnings announcement. When I left in February last year I had to stay an extra week in order to qualify.

I was affected in the last round. At least they’re fair in this regards. They gave me the full bonus, they even accelerated some RSUs that was actually due post termination date.

If the company announces a mid-year bonus after the Q2 earnings call Feb. 14, impacted employees will receive it.

My guess: we’ll get 25%, so as not to demotivate those that are left, with the predictable noise from management being we’ve had a tough H1, but we’ve got lots to be positive about, be thankful you weren’t let go, we had the bonus and salary changes a few years ago, so bonus isn’t as important as it was because you now get more salary.

I don’t see the next 6 months improving, so I see more significant LR numbers, and then probably another 25-50% bonus at the end of the year on top of the H1 bonus.

All the while more travel will be reduced for the ordinary folk whilst you’ll see all the talking heads at various international get togethers saying lots, but really saying nothing at all.

Isn't mid year bonus done 1st week of March? If an employee is employed by Q2 I would think they get the bonus (unless on PIP).

no idea, but my guess is it’s probably a cr-p payout anyway. or they might just say “we’ll pay you at the end of FY24… if you’re still working here” and fu-k many of us over before books close.
