Thread regarding Ford layoffs

I live in Ann Arbor, drive by the old Ypsi plant regularly

The one just off 94 at the Huron exit. The lot at that old plant is full of Rangers and Broncos. What gives?

Are those vehicles built with no buyers?

The problem is that Ranger and Bronco have gone thru the demand for those vehicles. Now we have excess inventory. Demand for EVs isn't the only vehicle demand cratering. No one wants these connected, subject to governmental surveillance and control new vehicles.

No way all of the OEMs survive 2024. And with Ford's pension liability they are the more likely to tank than the others.

2024 is going to be bloody.
