What Chambers has to say about HPE

Thrilled to congratulate my good friend Antonio Neri, CEO of Hewlett Packard Enterprise on the news that his company will acquire Juniper Networks. Now positioned to capture a larger portion of the cloud, AI, and networking markets, this bold move is a testament to Antonio’s visionary leadership and further demonstrates his and his team’s commitment to continuous innovation and growth.

IBM and ORACLE are original cloud creator, everyone else copied from IBM.

Since IBM and Oracle both have tiny single digit percentage shares of the cloud market what makes you think Cisco had any chance at all in the cloud market with no applications and no systems experience? They couldn't even manage their own networking equipment effectively in house.

JC got kicked out of Cisco because he was ki-ling the company.

It's always fun to poke those that worship Chambers as their false god. The revenues were going down through most of 2014 and even in 2015 when he had a small pop of growth that growth declined quickly. He definitely left "to spend time with his family."

To OP's quote, HPE's revenues are lower than they were five years ago so Chambers may just celebrating members of his "we lost business" self help group. It does have that flowery feel of his "we are family" speeches that the desperate at Cisco clung to as he frequenty laid off people from 2001 to 2015. If Mist AI is everything people are saying here it would make HPE buying Nile seem pointless.

Chuck relatively successfully used software licensing and other financial tricks to boost revenues and the stock price but that kind of thing isn't sustainable in a competitive environment and Cisco is losing market share. If the Splunk acquisition fails Chuck will be begging to join that same self help group.

Current Cisco is at wrong directions, no one wants to be part of it. What do you think chambers is out no longer wantd to speak with Chucky or having any association with CSCO.

This speaks a volume.
