Used to do a quarterly one after earnings. Then disappeared for nearly 6 months last year with not a peep from him. After uproar, he had a town hall. Now back to silence. How dos this guy lead a global company with hundreds of thousands of people and is silent. Guy is the worst leader I’ve seen. All he knows is chopping jobs and offshoring. Thus why he’s in India. Despicable. .

At prior large companies, I only had one townhall with our ceo. I got here and it was quarterly - that was odd. I think the cadence is now being aligned with other large companies.

Sharf has a serious case of Martin Shkreli face. A smug, little douchebag with a punchable face.
He’s not being paid enough to bother. /s
The emperor has no clothes.
His court of clowns knows and are just riding the stagecoach and stuffing their pockets until the wheels fall off
he's dammed if he does dammed if he doesn't. Not like there is anything he will tell us beyond what books he is currently reading.
He was brought in to sell of parts of the bank one by one. Town halls are kind of pointless, the day to day operations here are just biding time until that goal can be accomplished. The asset cap isn’t getting cleared, our public image is so toxic no regulators or politicians want to make headlines as being the ones to let us off the hook. The board knows that, of course they’re happy with what Charlie is doing, they hired him to do it.
Agreed. CEO and any of his reports, I ignore them all. I have much better things to do and listening to their lies will only make me mad. Don't read their emails, don't read their blogs, don't watch their interviews, and don't attend their town halls. No good will come from it.
On the one hand I totally get your point but on the other I had stopped tuning into his Townhslls a long time ago anyway. No leadership to be expected from that CEO
He just had a Town Hall in India for the only employees he cares about.
Going into hiding is one of his better business decisions.
There's no use in talking to people you plan on firing soon anyway.
