Pour one out for the tons of location strategy questions that they refused to air. The takeaway was just people appreciate the transparency but have additional questions that we won’t answer??? What transparency? Trash.

Whomever came up with the spin that RTO is all about the employee experience deserves an award. No, I don’t need to sit in a nasty hot desk three feet from my manager to be able to learn. No, spending unnecessary time , money and mileage is not a benefit. The successful banks will be able to get world class talent by going remote, and ditch costly real estate. WF will go the way of the stagecoach.

This used to be a good company. I stopped serving my Country to work here.

Now it's a fu--ing corporate sh-t show. Obviously they are trying to strip it out and sell it.

Fu-k them - make this company so worthless that it has as much value as they bring from Chase.

“We want to be transparent so people have time to plan”. Plan for what? Few will have the option for jobs in target markets. Plan to find a new job. Information down to the individual level will not come in advance. Do what you need to do for you. This was more info than anyone normally gets.

I mean, at least they really hammered home the point that the email about location strategy is basically a ploy to get people to leave WF before they do layoffs so they don’t have to pay out severance.

Transparency and candor is for plebes. Most of what the execs say is a pack of lies, ommissions, and PR spin designed to a) motivate some to quit without severance and b) keeping others working fanatically until I&P and AI can replace them.
