- If given the option to relocate to a hub, you will NOT be given an option of core locations. Leadership will tell you the specific location. Such BS.
(Unless you live where they plan on sending you, don't relocate. It's a trap. It's always a trap in corporate world, unless you're an exec. You WILL be laid off in new location.)
- The ongoing, admitted ambiguity re: displacement timeline for those not in hubs seems more fishy with every passing day.
I would not be surprised if the entire location strategy exercise is largely a red herring to get people to resign so WF can avoid severance and unemployment (I know of 7 people who resigned in the past 3 wks, so it's working). Then, a couple yrs down the road, WF changes direction again and much of the location strategy is never executed.
You could almost see it on execs faces during the LS discussion. This is all just a big, fat fake stick being used to achieve "organic attrition" until WF has succeeded. They are dragging it out intentionally, like turning sc--ws on a torture device.
