Bumping this up as this is a useful post, originally posted by @OP+1r11RYu1
My second visit to this site in last two days, probably after over a year as I left Cisco in 2022. Really sad at the state of things as several of my esteemed ex-colleagues got LRed during last year at various times, some very senior folks.
Just wanted to state that there is an FB page for Cisco folks where a lot of nice ex-Cisco people offer assistance in getting interviews at the companies that they are at now.
Following is the page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/CiscoAlumni
I had a some very generous guidance there when I thought (rightly or wrongly) that my new manager was all of a sudden pressuring me to leave for reasons I did not understand. I eventually did leave after being stressed for half a year and this site offered valuable guidance. I did not get a job off there but appreciated the insights from people far more experienced than me at Cisco. I was lost as I was working over 60 hours a week for the company and at projects that I did not have to. I was not sure why I was being picked on.
All the best. Stay strong. If you are good and sincere then you will find something.
