When is anyone affected is going to sue the bank for Layoffs and reposting jobs in India?
Someone needs to take the initiative!
This management is unethical and is treating the bank as their own property, su-king it out of life and leaving it dry!

Good luck. India's staff is incompetent and finger pointing. One of their female managers tried to point mistakes on reports I had already sent accurate information on. These managers will set you up to fail (and gaslight your abilities). The bank is overstaffed, full of toxicity, and there are jobs that pay better. It's smoke and mirrors. Will say great job on some sites becoming unionized. As much as I don't want to support those, in this case with cr-p leadership - it's needed. May all their dollars be drained, it's dirty money anyway.

I can't believe I have to explain this, again, in 2024, to who I assume are educated adults.
In American capitalism, the company is REQUIRED by law to do everything possible to provide a return on shareholder's investments.
If you can outsource and don't, you are inviting lawsuits.
I'm a huge fan of capitalism, but only well regulated capitalism. What you're seeing is capitalism eating itself.

This country is destroying itself slowly. Going after cheap labor in foreign countries is only hurting domestic buying power, leading to less business long term. Obviously these decision makers are only in it for themselves and eff everyone else.
OP, so why don't you do it? You think lawyers need an excuse to sue?
If you're are laid off due to your job going out of the country, it's reported to State unemployment as being discharged.
I think someone needs to give it a try, you never know! But I trust attorneys lust for fame, money and victory
because it's soooo illegal
