At one time AT&T was a good place to work and you were not afraid to hold any AT&T stock .

sbc should of never bought the baby bells back. it did nothing but make board members rich.
sbc should of let att go bankrupt because they have done nothing but gone straight downhill since they bought att. they let att management run things and the place went to the trash bin which is why att was going bankrupt.
none of the mergers have been good for the consumers. I would never own att stock.
Correction it was a Grrrrreat place to work at one time. Then it was a “good” place to work for many years.
Now, it’s a paycheck!
