CX Lost a lot of technical scrum masters, program managers, engineering program managers, Directors of software engineering... about 130+
yeah. after any LR or attrition in US in my area results in opening up a backfill in Mexico. with the salaries that Cisco offers their and reputation for layoffs, its so hard to get people to join in Mexico.
This investment in high growth areas is total gaslighting. bottom line is cost cutting to meet some stupid numbers they project or promise to wall street. funny thing is WF does not even care if Cisco is beating their projected EPS by 1 cent. Stock price is at same level for last 5 years. In most other companies, similar stock price performance itself will lead firing of ELP. why to go through all this sh*t of frequent LRs or acquisitions etc when you can't even beat inflation in stock performance. the bar set for ELP is sooo low.
worst thing is Chuck was saying Cisco stock is holding after downgrading projection. he is so delusional
It was
Professional Services was hit, harder in some Regions than in others. Which actually does not make sense, billable Engineers who pay for their own seats...we make money on every hour they work on Customer projects....weird
CX jobs have been moving to Mexico while slowing laying off US engineers and PMs. While pay so much more when you get resources for penny on a dime.
in my area, CX was cut brutally in last LRs so this time it is optically softer than other units
Most CX are useless. Useless organization 90% CX are running from Mexico.
Cx is being hit as we speak both in tac and other areas
Yes CX has been impacted.
I know of a number in CX. However, other areas seem to have been hit harder… this time. CX was hit pretty hard last time.
