Is a P4 the equivalent of a M3 position? Looking to post to management and concerned that there would be little to no salary increase

You need to look at the compensation grade in the WD job profile to understand the equivalency between P and M roles. There are differences across roles. Someone in this thread referenced Senior Lead/Principal potentially being equivalent to a Senior Manager but some Principal roles are equivalent to a Director. Compensation grade mapping is the key.
I've been both and no P is equivalent to any M. Some just like to pretend, hoping that we'll start listening to them. News flash: we won't.
p4 ~ m2, p5 = m3.
But when will you be Laid Off?
isn't that the real question here?
on the layoff board?
Same range but you get the joy of listening to the constant moaning and complaining of mediocre resources who cannot or barely perform at their level, want no responsibility, but have all the answers until given something to own then it your fault they fail.
They post the salary range. Shouldn't that tell you?
To be blunt…if you can’t find this out online in Teamworks, you have no business managing people.

What is Dist short for?
P4 = M2 in tech (appx pay terms)
Senior = Assoc Mgr
Lead = Mgr
— lines get a bit murky here —
Senior Lead/Prin = Snr Mgr
Dist = Director
Hmmm. Wouldn't LOB be an additional factor if different than your current?
