I was reading an interview with Farley, who said “We have half a million subscribers for software at Pro.”
I’m not sure what all the available “subscription services’ actually are, but found this:
Ford offers Viizr, a service tool that helps users digitize work quotes and invoices for $39/month. Okay, $39/month times 500,000 is $234 million.
There are about 260,000 “BlueCruise-equipped Ford and Lincoln vehicles on the road globally.” Best case we get $800/year from each. Maximum revenue $208 million.
The only other subscription product is Canopy Security, which apparently has zero subscribers because it doesn’t work as advertised. ADT, the partner in this, doesn’t know anything about it.
So total current subscription revenue appears to be:
Pro $234,000,000
Blue Cruise $208,000,000
Canopy Security $0 (CEO salary alone $1 million)
Total Subscription Revenue: $$442 Million.
How do we pay the interest on the $94,000,000,000 debt with subscription revenue?
