Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

LR Feedback even worth it

Is the feedback email you get to send about why you should keep your job even worth it? Has anyone ever had Cisco change their mind and retain them after being told they were being fired??

Nope. Legal requirement to collect it.

It probably does not go to an email box that is monitored. Or maybe it just goes to the legal department to have as any fodder for action they may want to take.

Do not bother with the feedback, it's just wasted minutes of your life and they don't care

Can someone clarify, how would sending feedback help cover them for a lawsuit?

Do not send a feedback. The company just wants to cover themself for any lawsuits. Just get your severance and leave.

Is this a real thing? If so, that’s incredibly shameful from Cisco. Asking someone to essentially beg to keep their job?
