Nice ELT gesture to block live stream. This way only safe leaders can join and sing priases for ELT for a job well done. Where is Frank and her unpretentious & genuine concerns for her Cisco family? This is obvious double-standard unheard to be best place to work.

@Gene Wilder, speaking for myself I wanted to see the broadcast to understand if the lay-offs are better positioning Cisco to grow going forward or just cost cutting to achieve a financial metric. Based on that, I can decide if I want to pursue another role at Cisco or leave. Based on the comments it sounds like the latter, so would have been a waste of time, but would have been good to as--s first hand.
OMG!!!! This happened in the last round of LRs and they apologized saying it was an accident. It wasn't!!! The deception is incredible!!!
In the last LR, many of the LRed people "accidentally" had their networked blocked on their laptops and on the All Hands meeting the ELTs apologizing to everyone it happened, but of course, nobody impacted could hear it so they apologized to all the wrong people!!! No effort was ever don't to really apologize to these folks, it was all funny to the ELT. This is the unbelievable stuff that happens in Cisco!
The ELTs don't care about people, it is all them positioning to the people that weren't impacted. Go ask some people impacted a year ago, especially some of the folks that were a few years from retirement, and ask how they were treated. You know the answer, but ask so it sinks in how sick our Cisco culture has become.
We should cut ELT compensation before we let so many good people go!!! Something has to change as this insanity just continues.
they don't share anything different on these calls. if you read Q&A and chat, you will see leaders also complaining about the same things. most irritating people are those who keep saying thnk you to ELT , and hi / bye from xyz location.
The ELT is pretty dull today and Jeetu is an id--t as usual speaking absolute nonsense.
They got some sharp feedback, I was a little shocked.
The bad news is that the US thing isn't done yet, should be finished by Tuesday. APJC by end of month and EMEA - who knows? They tried to claim that the 3 quarters of the $800m are because of country-specific laws stretching it out (BS!!).
We all know that even though they will give the "all clear" next week to the US people, they will pull another 2023 and claim that the Q4 layoffs were "a continuation of Q3".
There was a lot of comments about how this round seemed to hit so many good performers, vital people working on important projects, etc. etc.
Fran gave a weak non-answer basically saying it was different in every case - they really didn't know and certainly weren't saying.
Any specifics covered on this manager call?
And why would you need to be on this call if you were let go? What's the value? Please explain.
