How do they come up with this BS!? Who did they survey? As a former employee, we were never asked how we felt about working at Cisco…such a joke!

The ranking is simply pay-to-play. This falls into the category of brand management and PR.
Cisco is not a bad company, just they people that run it is bad. LOL! The building is very nice and I even had a desk to sit at.
As much as i keep hearing people talking sh-t to Cisco, they go to another company and crawl right back. Everyone who works at Cisco knows the work life balance is top notch here. You can raise a family and still have plenty of time not to mention the pay is not bad for the work that you do. Quit lying to yourself, if you can manage the yearly layoff, Cisco is a lot better than a lot of companies out there in term of work life balance.

It's really not a bad place to work if you earn well. Anything G12 and up and you are rewarded well with RSUs, Bonus on top of base pay.
The work life balance is not too bad.
What is bad is the du----s leadership we got running the show. The constant layoffs every 6 months makes it impossible to like it or attract top talent.
