I'm nauseous. Why? What happened? Why? No joke that I'm sick and want to throw up. I wish I had JD and all the ELT in my tummy right now because either end they would "end" up in the toilet and flushed.

All of this makes me sick as well. No compassion for the employees. Example - letting a bunch of people go right before Christmas. There’s never a good time, but that’s a worse time.
You can thank the Sociopath JD. I clearly remember when he was announced as the CEO saying he needed to travel to “learn the business.” Why are we putting someone at that level if they need to learn the business? Then he pulls product out of retail to sell “direct to consumer” and wonders why running is taking a hit. Maybe that makes sense during COVID but not long term IMO. He’s been a train wreck since he took over.
@xjr - Stop minimizing people's feelings. Even if they will be okay eventually, it's okay for people to not be okay in this moment. Part of embracing change is acknowledging and feeling your emotions.
Many people who exit the playing field over the next week will be worse off for it. This is a painful reality.

At least the severance package is generous. Layoffs have been happening since Oct/Nov. a lot of people just didn't know. They are all okay too.
