If you are close to retirement beware. It is illegal to discriminate against or harass based on age.

Wonder what could go wrong with “replacing experienced older employees with entry level juniors offshore”….
LOL. This country has fallen apart with the retirement of boomers.
Ha ha… let us know how GenZ fares when their parents get the spine to kick them out on their own. If you’re not fully self sufficient by the end of your 20’s then you’re going to have a very tough life.
You must retire at 72 from the Bank. If you don’t wish to they will likely give you a years worth of SUB.
Not that any Genx and following workers could ever work even a third that long.
How do you "offer" "forced" retirement?
been hearing the may offer forced retirement to 55+
Hard to prove or beat. Just have to su-k it up as part of business.
There's a huge difference between claiming that 93% of zoomers ghost interviews vs that 93% have ghosted AN interview.
@1skz, that's not quite what it says.
They are going to have a very rude awakening. Research says Gen Z are treating employers like bad dates: 93% ghost interviews and 87% have not even shown up for their first day of work.

Which is why when you get laid off, you sign on the dotted line that you will not sue the company before you get your package. Of course it's age discrimination, but you agree to it to get your sub pay. If you'd rather lawyer up and fight it, that's at your discretion. Good luck.
Do you work with anyone under 50 years old? I bet 9 out of 10 of my coworkers are older than 50 so of course they're going to be affected a lot.
Yes- I have seen evidence of this myself.
Bank is actively looking to replace experienced older employees with entry level juniors offshore.
