Just another reminder of how they scr*wed a lot of people out of a week of vacation, including myself, for a day in February that I have no reason to want to have off.

Years ago, I remember an AA co worker sighing that MLK Day was not a company Holiday. Now it is and she lost a week of vacation. They p redistributed pto from her to me

Management also got sc--wed with MLK because it’s now a company holiday for everyone else.

Don't be mad at President's Day that virtually every other tech company gets off as a holiday. Be mad at leadership for age discrimination.

Use a whole week of the 3 weeks you get for family care etc....tell them you have to care for a parent who just had surgery....you're welcome :)

I suggest you give 5 days of your vacation that you could take anytime and get 3 fixed days in return and see how you like it.
