I am sure that the Blue Cruise system is just like Tesla and switches back to driver control just before an impact.

Therefore, it is the drivers fault for not paying attention.

Oh, sorry - did you think 'autopilot' meant you could take your hands from the wheel or look away from the road?

Oh, sorry - did you learn that from literally every use of the word autopilot on television and movies?

Well, that's not 'technically' what it means. Did you know that pilots are constantly monitoring feedback from multiple sources while autopilot is engaged? Oh, you aren't a pilot?

The last thing Ford needs is a safety recall on Blue Cruise. Could this be the result of separating the seasoned research engineers and replacing them with people who never delivered anything more than a thesis on the subject?
