I see women being promoted that don't know a thing about vehicle, transmission or engines. They are asking the d-mbest questions you could imagine.

Wake the fawk up now and fix this company. Unfortunately most of upper management is more interested in their next promotion or pay raise to actually give a fawk about the long term success of the company.

I contributed millions of dollars of savings for Ford during the years that I worked there. Ford paid my bills and provided me a retirement pension that I can enjoy a comfortable living for the next 25 years.
This used to be a good company to work for but not anymore. I am sad to see that the company is no longer interested in making good quality products that people want to buy. The company moral is in the sh-t hole. No one wants to do any work. Engineers hired outside engineers to do the work. It's pathetic to see what's going. I see my coworkers doing nothing for the company, work from home when they are not even at home. Some are working on their home remodeling projects and they told their LL6 that they are working from home.

I started with Ford in the 1990's. While it wasn't my only job, I did spend over 20 years there before I was involuntarily separated. The biggest reason I stayed on was the pension. Getting that lump sum made it all worthwhile.

It is just a shame Ford stopped making vehicles for the common person.
Everything in moderation. My 33 years at Ford provided a comfortable lifestyle for our family . 57yrs old and starting a different phase in life. Volunteering and giving back to our community are just as rewarding.
I am not bitter about getting let go, just disappointed in the way it went down. Management cowards both up and down the chain of command.
Just think how different it would have been if your manager stood up for you and told his boss that this is not the way to treat employees. Failures at all levels. Just plain sad.

No, only people who are 70 years old remember those days. So it’s unlikely they are skulking around on a Ford layoff site. We all grew up knowing corporations won’t take care of us, we have to take control of our own lives.
