I wanted to know
1- When is the last day for people who were laid off on Feb 15 and
2- when does people's name disappear from CEC? and
3- is it different if you just quit and not get laid off? Would you disappear from CEac immediately?
If anyone can help me, I appreciate it.

I want to know
1- Who was your elementary school teacher?
2 - What was your highest grade in English?
3 - How did you get hired at Cisco?
4 - Do you consider yourself employable?
VP and above can be a year. No directs is best measuremnt
1- When is the last day for people who were laid off on Feb 15 and
I've heard Apr 15th, but in the past LR'd staff's last day of employment was between 30-35 days after the announcement in order for managers to notify everyone and let HR prepare the paperwork ahead of time using the same last day of employment on everyone's paperwork. Then they're paid an additional 30 days of pay "in-lieu of notice" so that, combined, you were given 60+ days of notice/pay before being terminated.
2- when does people's name disappear from CEC? and
When the automated processes detect the change in employment status and populate the terminated status from an HR database to the other systems like AD, email, Webex, ... It's usually within 48 hrs of their last day as an employee. But they may have turned in their badge, laptop, corp expense credit card, etc. before their "last day".
3- is it different if you just quit and not get laid off? Would you disappear from CEC immediately?
No different. Upon your last day, HR updates some database, automated processes pick it up during the nightly job run, and the update populates through AD and other systems and your accounts are disabled, marked as in-active employee/terminated/whatever, and you disappear from the Exchange Global Contact List, Webex users, Directory, etc.
It's really fun to scroll through my Webex "spaces" where people have direct messaged me to see just how many people's avatar has turned into the person silhouette. Most of them are IT/Helpdesk Support agents who are short term contractors, but sadly, too many were employees I used to know/work with on a regular basis. I end up deleting about 20-30 contacts every 6 months.
Started another job with more money. Better company. Double dipping with gains. Pocket my package into savings.
Could not have been a better year!

Impacted folks are still employed until April 15th. I was happy to get the package, I already started a new job at a competitor. Will double dip this year and pay a lot of taxes.
