Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

This place needs new management

All AT&T management does is lie, gaslight, and lead people on. There isn't an honest person among them. Maybe they were at one point but this company makes you into a liar if you want to advance up the ladder, so by the time they make it, they fit the mold perfectly. I don't trust any one of them anymore, no matter what they say.

Need new workers too. Spend too much time complain and talking about work. Too little time doing actual work. If you are spend a lot of time telling people how hard you are working, you ain't working hard at all.

Yes, "The toxic..manipulative mind games" from all Level 3 and above.
Most damaging is their lack of response when technical issues are presented to them and they do nothing. Why? Because their AVP will get pi---d off, and because neither of them will understand any technical issue in the first place.Starting from our Jeremy Bachelor in Arts guy. We are loosing money with these guys..... Moreover, no room to get a promotion and they lie every time with useless lines.

I’m sorry but grateful to hear it’s not just me.. I literally just said this to my AD in my last coaching. Like why are you asking me questions you don’t want to hear the answers to and are going to use to gaslight me anyway. You’re going to type up your one sided documentation and falsify company records anyway so what’s the point. He keeps lying about dates and situations and I am literally over it. To the poster- I am so sorry to hear you’re going through the same toxic bs but I literally thought I was the only one going through this. I am not going to allow them to management out… and I hope you don’t either. Make them fire you or surplus you. The toxic..manipulative mind games can’t last forever..

I quit trying a while back. Got lied to so many times by them. You could see how some levels like the ADs were just miserable, the directors were always playing corporate 2 step trying not to ire the AVPs in the hopes to get there. The AVPs were su-king up to make VP and the VPs are all jockeying for position and doing power grabs to move up. Above that I have no idea. I’m going to guess they were trying to be a favorite. At the end of the day, I figured, well, that isn’t for me. I like to get things done, I tell it how it is, don’t cover up things, be honest and want to take care of the company and the customers. Sure the pay would be very nice, but I wasn’t going to sell my soul to get there. Not to mention I didn’t check the right boxes (fact that happens, heard it first hand).
