Verizon says CEO pay ratio for 2023 was 168 to 1
That makes the average total compensation $143,452

Average seems a bit high. Maybe it has something to do with the 6 EVPs and 77 SVPs.

Or the “Total Rewards” fluffed up comp that counts 401k POTENTIAL match dollars, health insurance subsidy, and TUITION reimbursement as TC?

Anyone who knows the industry knows that counting these dollars as Total Comp would be downright LAUGHABLE. Its base, annual bonus, annual stock. It’s already borderline fluffing to include sign-on and potential stock appreciation.
