Put in my notice this week. Hallelujah!!! Feel bad for my team I'm leaving, no one else. They now get the extra work from having to work my portfolio, but no overtime. Of course they cut your external email access the next day. If I had something to write to my customer, I sure would of sent it before I put in my notice. I now get to depend on my team to forward all my emails that need to be sent to my customers (work large accounts & don't have phone conversations, just teams meetings). Saw the closure if our office coming 6 months ago, questioned it many, many times. Red, flags were flying, but was told we worry to much. We're told your location will close in 2-3 years. Sorry WF I don't trust you. I decided to choose my own fate & not let WF choose it for me. They are losing unplaceable talent in our location, but we are just minions that make less than six figures. I'm ready to watch this ship sink like the titanic. Working on getting the rest of my team out fast. WF was just a little speed bump in my career. The only thing I'm taking with me is my new friendships.

Good for you. Rock on. No workplace is perfect, but there Is no need to live with the threat of a layoff constantly held over your head.
Layoffs happen everywhere, sure, but WF has created a culture where they never end. It’s no way to live. It’s bad for mental and physical health, bad for relationships, bad for careers.
Working at WF has no redeeming value whatsoever. Never look back.

I have been ready since last year but unlike you, I am waiting for my payout as I will take the time to decompress and look for that next big adventure.
Make sure you don’t jump into another sh*t show equal or bigger. Seriously!
