In our area, there are meetings telling employees how much they're appreciated, all while waiting for their layoff. Feels disingenuous.
I feel like the objective is to move a lot overseas or skirt around regulatory issues so they can because we know WF doesn’t mind paying fines. But I think some is to drive attrition because there will be exceptions. I’m still looking for a new job but hoping for a better job market in 2025.
Who knows when the next wave of the C-suite comes in it will be a different transformation plan. It’s just a toxic cycle recycled every 3-5 years of the good ole boys club and their new visions.
India/Philippines talent is subpar at best.

They keep talking about being transparent about the location strategy and then send out a contradictory email announcement with zero follow up. Why did managers get FAQs that they are forbidden from sharing with non managers? Why do they keep leaving out the most important part of the plan and just keep saying multi year initiative with no real plan? F**k this place! I’m out ✌️as soon as I find another position. This company is being run by a bunch of good ole boys who are only looking out for themselves.
