We used to get a weekly email with a stack rank and all the people on the largest accounts with the highest numbers were ranked down the bottom. All the new starters and aquisition reps were ranked at the top.
The more you bring in the less you are valued.
ranking without the discussion to continually maintain a bottom 10% pool, and whether it is deserved to not is not up for question

Auto pips come from the system and are happening. Manager has a chance to argue them but its not easy.
Have heard a colleague warned with a PIP this week already.

What segment are you in? We havent had a PIP process in DTS in over a decade.
Make sure to sell as many servers as possible with no GPU and label them "AI ready"

I love it. Dell and its managers prove that its culture has been radioactive for years.
Nature eliminates toxic waste with time. The toxic managers will be gone as time goes by. They wont have anyone left to make a scapegoat of.
Dont do PiPs.
Most companies offer an immediate severance. You should take that and leave.
PIPs never went away. I’ve had them in my team to manage poor performers. The only thing I would add is that in some instances people who WOULD have been put on a PIP went straight to WFR. No chance to reset performance.
What’s an autopip?
How do you know if you have an autopip? I just got assigned a a mysterious training in My Learning that has no explanation or info and my manager is leaving me on read when I ask about it.
Anything to avoid paying a severance with the stock price at all time high. This company just finds ways to be worse and worse to its employees.
Miss a metric, pip. They will manage the next round out the door based on metrics. When this happens, no package.
