I am displacing Chainsaw Chuckie from life. I accepted a new job. I will get a 30% raise in base pay. Similar bonus to Wells Fargo, so total compensation is much higher. To think Wells Fargo has been feeding us this line of bull about paying us competitive compensation. Not even close. I am giving notice this Friday. I am going into the office tomorrow without a care in the world. If you are not looking for another job, now is a good time to start.

I'd heard that FHO (a subset ip tech) would see a few reductions due to 'efficiency.' This is seperate from the relocation strategy.
It's eerie. A branch in Innsbrook corporate park (suburb of Richmond, VA) has closed. A branch in Midlothian, VA (another suburb of Richmond, VA) has closed. I swear it was just open for business A week or two ago. We rode by it yesterday and the Wells Fargo sign is gone! It said coming soon C&F Bank. The Innsbrook Wells Fargo call center is supposed to be closing in 2-4 years. That will be alot of jobs leaving and probably going to India or Phillipines.
