I'm getting more and more work and zero help to do it. I'm this close to throwing in the towel and walking away, even without another job waiting for me. My health is important and if I continue the way I have been for the past 12 months or so, I'll probably have long-term consequences. I want to avoid that at any cost.

You may be getting more work because your supervisor believes you can handle it and can grow. Talk to your supervisor and mentor before tapping out.

Don't worry, help is on the way. Goto ExxonMobil career page and search in the jobs section. You will be amazed of hundreds of positions needing to be filled, about 95% of them are located overseas. There you go.
Workloads have been increasing per employee after every reorganization. We have been reducing global OPEX by 3% every year for the last 30+ years. For the employees that remain, our workload has increased each year.
We should all thank Apple, Google, Microsoft and SAP for providing electronic tools such as Office 365, cell phones, and iPads so that we can work faster and more efficiently.
Hopefully, Artificial Intelligence (ChatGPT and its clones) will provide additional efficiencies for those of us that remain.
