VZ is NOT looking to acquire more wireline especially the cr-p they unloaded. Its people looking to short the stock that are putting out fake rumors. Only private equity firms have interest in legacy phone networks.

Former Frontier CEO M@ggie W bought so much copper garbage all over the country and overpaid for FiOS Florida, Texas, California. The company was drowning in debt, losing customers and good workers. The current management team has its hands full for the next decade to fix the mess M@ggie left and to build out their fiber network. VERIZON DOES NOT WANT THIS HOT MESS OR THE REMAINING UNION LABOR!!!

Having consumer service back in West Virginia would be awesome, but I don't see it ever happening.

Getting California, Florida, and Texas back would be good. Connecticut would be a nice addition as well.

VZB has a lot of business in West Virginia.

So we can get that all-important West Virginia market back? Sounds plausible.

Can we ban @OP from this site?

We’re expanding FiOS significantly but I don’t know about us purchasing Frontier. Considering 5G is a failure I can see why.

Can you list some sites that are saying this? We are going in the other direction. Not more wireline, but less. No idea why anyone would say we would purchase Frontier.
