I'm not sure why engineers need to make 30% more than other white collar workers with similar (or higher) degrees. Is the 20% overage now not enough?

What an ID--T as the reality portrays something different. I mean, if there was some fun to not being able to pay your bills if let go, and some fun n the way our jobs play a role in our lives, I get it. Aside that - come on... Not a good one in how things are today. Just an opinion and I'm sure people impacted or in the verge (and even if not) are in a similar mindset - not cool.
