Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Is WF moving out of SF, layoffs with relocation coming?

Is WF moving out of its SF spaces?
420 Montgomery, 555 Sacramento, 464 California
Are new layoffs with relocation coming?
Spaces are looking different, lots of large groups walking the building, signage missing, new painting being done…

relocation stragety is so stupid and emp still meet on teams. TALENT LOST for WF and making employees and their dependents suffer. Managers will get exceptions to work remotely with their pets.

Is Charlie the CEO one of the moderators who monitor and edit this board? If so, the posters on this board will not have free speech.

Retaliation for this 2016 action
John Chiang, the state treasurer who oversees $2 trillion in bank transactions annually, announced the unprecedented sanctions Wednesday. In a letter to Wells Fargo, he asked, “How can I continue to entrust the public’s money to an organization which has shown such little regard for the legions of Californians who have placed their financial well-being in its care?”

Are all of you employees at WF?

Thank you,

So will the stagecoach museum on Montgomery Street will be history? Maybe the bank could put them out on the street for the newcomers to use as shelter.

@1ume

100%. I can't believe more people don't talk about that huge skeleton (especially the one at Visa) more often.

CS is on a very tight leash and must be accompanied if he sets foot in SF.

NY is a hub because CS couldn't keep it in his pants and his wife won't let him travel to SF anymore.

San Francisco is a speciality location for all California

If and when WF moves HQ, it will be to CLT or NY. NY has more.caché, and that all that seems to matter to Scharf.

WF HQ has remained in SF this long only bc of sweetheart deal w/ the city.

Bottom line: Does it really matter where you dock the Titanic b4 it's final, catastrophic voyage?

This is how you know that "efficiency" and "doing more with less" and "cost cutting" are all lies. No one cutting costs would ever hire or buy sq footage in NYC or SF. No one.

Will WF keep its remaining stagecoach museum? According to Wikipedia WF closed 11 of their 12 museums in 2020. The remaining one is in San Francisco. "After evaluating our business and community strategies, we have decided to consolidate the program to focus on our San Francisco museum location and close the remaining 11 museum locations over the next 12 months."[5] The Wells Fargo History Museum in its corporate headquarters of San Francisco, California was the only museum to remain open."

Doubt it. You do realize that WFC has bigger campuses than Irving already. CIC, Chandler and Jordan Creek are all bigger. Stop with the non sense.

Wells is moving headquarters to Irving Texas. Campus is being built.

Wf is consolidating SF into 333 Market. They already moved San Leandro and Fremont employees there (and Concord, if closer).

New York is just as expensive if not more than SF. Why is the CEO pushing to hire more people and NY when all you hear is WF needs to cut costs?

What are they going to do with the stagecoaches in these buildings?
Scrap them? Turn them into rickshaws?

Is this correct, 333 market will consolidate all remainin SF offices?

i wonder where these posts come from

555 sacramento does t exist and 464 california and 420 montgomery are the same building. its well known that 333 market will be the hub for wf employees. the 420 montgomery/464 california is traditional hq-- its owned so hard to unload but i am sure cpg would love to get rid of

Yes they are closing these office spaces because SF is dangerous and expensive.
