Two engineers, remote not in core let go, one with extensive knowledge on a niche product. Production issues with continue now…
Again, they are making a huge mistake. Slow bleed of people keeps people on edge and not focused on the work. Lower productivity and less gets done. Of course, the leadership will still get paid but for the overall company, quite sad.

Why are you downvoting my post about Charlotte? 100% true. They were a strategic location but there were only three people there. Boise also has team members who deal with flood insurance but there are more of us. Boise has a few managers but Charlotte did not. It’s clear that Commercial Banking Operations wants Flood to be in either Des Moines or Minneapolis.
Just got an email from a co-worker in Consumer & Small Business Banking. Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant who was REMOTE earned their wings this morning. When they said they were starting layoffs of Remote in 2nd Quarter, they weren't messing around!
Three team members from Flood Operations in Charlotte got displaced this morning. Boise will be next at some point, since they are not a strategic location.
Remote Consumer Lending Implementation Consultants were displaced this morning.
This is curious, because at first glance there is a humorous tone when someone demands info here and when someone obeys that command.
