Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Minneapolis Layoffs?

Anyone know how hard Minneapolis was hit if at all? I haven't heard a thing, at least no one I know has been laid off.

I'm affected by Location strategy and actually offered to go to Minneapolis. Looks awesome to me and people I know who've visited spoke highly of it. I'm an east coaster.

Because Minneapolis rocks that's why. We get all four seasons, and we have more shoreline than Hawaii, California, and Florida combined. Best fishing in the world and were one of the safest locations. The graduation rate is high, people are nice, and we have several WF branded buildings here. WF actually owns the buildings which leads into the footprint that will always remain here. If you don't agree with me, go ahead and kick rocks!

Remember it is Norwest Bank that acquired Wells Fargo. "Norwest Corporation was a banking and financial services company based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. In 1998, it merged with Wells Fargo & Co. and since that time has operated under the Wells Fargo name.[1]" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norwest_Corporation

Many of us in Minneapolis pray to be laid off. Wish it was not on the list.

Probably the 1st commenter is from Charlotte.

I think the first commenter is salty that Minneapolis is a preferred location for many LOBs, which i think was a surprise for lots of employees. The list of preferred locations for groups like CSBBO was a little shocking to say the least. New York and Minneapolis, for example, were at the top of the list, even though i personally don't think of CSBBO when i think of New York. Whereas locations like Des Moines (which many people think of as a primary location) are on the list of "we won't lay you off, but we also won't backfill you." Interesting decisions being made up top... -_-

Is Minneapolis the home of where all corruption began with that Di-k guy?

To the bitter, miserable person deriding Minneapolis, who hurt you as a child?

Tell me you're from the East Coast without telling me you're from the East Coast.

May you reap what you sow.

I forgot about Minneapolis. Such a forgettable little town.

I wish the bank would pull out of that rotten area entirely.
