Reading through some of the news and some of the posts that I’ve seen on different websites I’m a little bit nervous about working for Intel. Disaster? Are there positive places inside of Intel to work?

RUN the other way!
You will be laid off less than 6 months
Regardless of the constant negativity on this forum, I would say go ahead and take it. The market outside isnt exactly pouring jobs right now. Intel still offers very solid benefits and total comp package.
Depending on the group you join, there are still a lot of smart people that you can learn from. The Amazons of the world may sound great, but they are constantly laying off and there are 100s of applicants for every decent job. Not a lot of options out there. Spend your time learning what you can, ignore the naysayers, and then when the job market improves you can decide what you want to do next.
If you have no other offers, then might as well. But if I were sitting on an offer from AMD, NVIDIA,Apple,TSMC,Google,Facebook,McDonalds. I'd probably go with that.
If you have no other offers and are running out of time, take the job. But, as other's have suggested, keep interviewing and get out of intel ASAP. Best of luck!!
Take the job and get paid. Don't stop looking though.
Yeah. Also if the commute is not horrible. Give two choices, a commute from he-l or Intel, take Intel. As jti said, we all have bills to pay… and keep looking!
Yes. But only if I didn’t have something else lined up, and only until I found something better.
We all have bills to pay.
Be careful
