Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

AT&T is a 'third-place network': Analyst

Zero accountability from our Board. We went from first to last and still have the same losers in charge.

The report tells us why.

“He highlights Verizon as "a turnaround story," with the consumer business experiencing a resurgence since the appointment of a new CEO at the company.”

A new CEO turned Verizon around? What a concept! Never heard that said on this page before.

Our network is $hit. Period. End of story. There is literally no part of our network that isn’t governed by “do it cheaper”.

Randall is on the Board of Walmart - that shows how little potential you really need to have.

How is this possible with so many top performers?

There is ZERO accountability from top down (to the front line employee) so why would we expect the long term outcome at T to be any different.

Unfortunately, many boards are now a "good ole boys" network, and just another source of protected income for each other. Board members are officers or higher ups at other companies or institutions with CEOs as their board members so they do not want to upset their companions and possibly lose their positions. ATT seems to be functioning in this capacity.
