Being laid off from this s::: show was one of the best days of my life
add me to the list. Company is a wasteland and I'm only in it for the $ at this point.
I do what I need to get by and am not letting the toxicity ruin my off hours.
No worries, most of the layoffs will come from union concessions during contract negotiations and will occur within 90 days of ratification. Fact.
Nice! My severance package is going to be huge.
"Nothing stopping you from quitting" - missed my point. Yes, I could easily quit and retire today however I do know my job is being automated and what's left is being offshored so sooner or later I will be laid off. I'm just hoping for that to be sooner rather than later. Meanwhile my job is so easy and I get so much paid time off thaof course I'm not leaving until they pay me to leave. And I'm just laughing about it too because my job and workplace is a joke.
Who needs an employee survey when the aspiration of most T employees is to get terminated ….what else do you need to know. What a sh-t show. Thank you Randy and Stink. You guys are simply the worst!!!!!

I hope to be laid too.
"I'm retirement eligible, but don't plan on leaving until I receive a layoff notice with a severance paycheck! At this point, it's really a cr-p shoot that it will come, but I'm still earning a bi-weekly paycheck while I wait! It's really a win-win!"
That was going to be my plan as well. But then it comes to thinking about all of the time that I am wasting with worthless meetings, capricious deadlines, dealing with a manager whose main strength is stealing opportunities from her reports by having them do all of the hard work but depriving them of visibility and recognition, driving hours and hours to an office where I have to sit in an anonymous work space collaborating with no one... I came to the realization that my life is just too good to waste in that way. So I'm out the door on my own terms at the end of the month, and I can't wait to get this oppressive "career" of my back. I've given T my best and I feel good about what I've contributed, but definitely time to leave- with no regrets. I'm well positioned with retirement savings and a good social security benefit. I feel fortunate to be at this stage in life, where I can leave and still live comfortably. And I don't want to waste the precious time dealing with the toxic corporate atmosphere that T has descended into. I wish everyone else the best!

Hold the door for the rest of us that will be right behind you!
Same!
The OP simply wants to be laid off to get the money. I ain't leaving till they pay me to leave.
You would already be gone if really wanting to leave. Stop trolling.
