I'm relatively happy getting paid a full-time paycheck for working only 15-20 hours per week. I work smart, efficiently and the managers seem to be OK with my productivity. The company is a dumpster fire, but it's just a job, nothing more! This job doesn't define me, not even close!

"Im very happy! I think we have the best leadership in the industry. John Stanley is the man that can get things done! I have full faith in ATT and the direction we are going."

Wow! Stankey's mom posts here. That's inspiring. Thank you for your insights Mrs. S.

  • “I enjoy my job, which is good since I’m not in a hub there are no other options for me. Guess I’ll stay here until retirement.”

You sure?
They just fired an L3 they granted full virtual to today on my team because they don’t live near a hub and didn’t want to move.

You sure you’re good?

You’re next homie.

  • “I was happy with doing Costco runs, working on the house, coaching kids soccer, aka WFH. Then I had to RTO and actually work. Not happy.”

Hired into Bellsouth in 1998. Things were going very well until we became "AT&T" Pay is good, 1st level is OK, Area Mgr is a #1 backstabber. I am trying to lay low until 2028.

I like my job alright. I'm not a fan of the bureaucracy and unattainable goals that will be used as a reason to push further headcount reduction. Being older, white, and a male doesn't help my case either.

I'm very happy with my job, but our leadership gets in its own way.

Making over $100k base doing a fairly simple union office job. I'm legit happy. Probably knock out 100+ hours of OT this year too.

The work is ok but I hate the long commute under RTO and the environment the work is done in. Leadership is a joke in the executive suite and the treatment of employees is horrible with pay, benefits, and forced re-locations

OOR ABFS is the best, most money I’ve ever made, never leaving until the surplus hits.

I used to be reasonably happy here, but after leaving TDP things have gone downhill dramatically, the new direction of the company has morale at an all time low and I’m looking for the eject button.

The money is OK and it’s the only reason I still stay, but I’m looking for other opportunities in tech.

I do like my job We do productive things, am learning new skills, am building something valued.

I don't like the company's terrible financial weakness, the obvious decline in most things and the palour stench of decay in the air. Also, don't like the stupid overreliance on third party vendors.

Executive leadership, the Board and most top-down policy is failing and limiting our future. We need leadership changes.

I started at PacBell late in life.
It was ok, depending on your manager
Some were good, some were not.
Then came the cowboys
I am presently in a good spot
Good 1st and 2nd LVL.
Money is good.
Union Local is useless
Other locals in my region seem to have it together

"I don’t think anyone is truly happy regardless of job."

Completely wrong. I used to really enjoy my job. I have had some really good bosses at AT&T, and at one time I believed that the company goals and my goals were aligned. However, the company has changed and our goals are askew.
