I’ve heard that everyone affected by wave 1 has been notified in Technology. The real notification/displacement will happen in May. What about wave 2? Do managers know who will be in wave 2 yet?

I was in Wave 1 and declined relocation last week. Now waiting for notice of displacement which could be anytime in Q2. Does anyone know when the displacement letters will go out or are they stringing us along for 3 months to see who will quit first?
I read TK's announcement as Wave 1 being anytime in Q2.
Managers don’t know who is in Wave 2 yet. Heck they didn’t know those affected by Wave 1 until a few days before the affected were notified.
Those who got an exception for Wave 1 are back in the block for wave 2. Then all over again for Wave 3. I think a reasonable litmus test is to look at your group and if you’re already understaffed and lose FTE’s during wave 1 and they don’t backfill then you will likely be kept until the very end or offered relos
I’m in one of the 3 speciality technology markets that CTO allows, see how terribly this all plays out.
I'm in Wave 1 and in Technology as well and it looks most likely large displacements will be in May as stated above. Wave 2 is most likely in August is from what I heard.
Wave 2 in fall ... August on. They can only get India organized so fast.

I am learning Azure AI, python, tensorflow, pytorch and Unstructured Graph cloud databases to restore all the structured SQL data everybody has for the AI revolution. I did a business model you on myself (https://businessmodelyou.com/) and figured the most "efficient" thing is to "quietly quit" (I have 10 yrs in this H..ll..Ho.) while GAF about Me. Most of the people I work with at Wells are running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Place has become more like a birdhouse (east & west singers).
I forget it by immersing myself in Udemy, plenty of cool websites, and local groups (meetups) to learn. Also new tools (check out the new AI assisted jetbrains editors). DGAF about Wells GAF about yourself. Remember after Wells goes you will still have you.
Have those who will be cut in wave 2 been decided?
This is going to su-k. I know one guy that is not in a hub city and already said he doesn't plan to move. So they're probably gone. My boss is in a specialty city but not part of that org so I have no idea how that will affect him.
I kind of DGAF anymore. If they cut people from our org, then the work doesn't get done. Simple as that.
Tech wave 2 in the fall.
I heard next year. But not sure how reliable that is. Probably depends how many people they can get rid of.
