C and E tech here, we have been dismantling our network by copper reclamation projects which is basically ki-ling all the big cables that aren't being used!
Most of these is what kept air pressure monkeys busy!
Now they have been shuffled around to managers out of town!
They are being told to order new dryers and new equipment!
Why would we order new equipment for cables that are being removed!!!

Never understood why we moved away from the paper wrapped wires. At least we could burn the sheathing off them safely to reclaim the copper.
Out with the old, in with the new. Transformation, it’s not all going away because the govt. still likes copper for backup, 911 and doesn’t get hacked like 1’s and 0’s.
Riigghht, we should not remove cables that don’t have any working services, just so that we can save air pressure tech jobs.
“Proof engineers don’t understand air pressure if they’re removing these cables.” Yes remaining cables will need to be looked to ensure air pressure is maintained if needed. However, strange statement…hmmmm, why does a removed cable need to be pressurized? Duh

However, Toxic-T is slightly different than the Federal Gooberment.
First, Toxic-T does not have a G U N pointed at every taxpayer head to pay or go to Levenworth - unless your name is Hunter of course.
Second, Toxic-T does depend on federal contracts, like: First-Net, free phones and service to illegals, free or reduced internet to the poor, etc. Toxic-T is dependent on the Gooberment, mandates, hand outs, just like many other companies.
T is like the government when it comes to budgets, spend it or loss it. Just needed to blow some cash so the reports look good.
