Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

You can never win at WF

Everything is stacked against you. The coworkers throw each other under the bus all the time. Please go & work at another company if considering coming here.

Just like society at large, Wells is just a few layoff cycles from being collegial to the law of the jungle. Humans, at heart, are selfish and will rationalize to an absurd degree doing horrific things to others, especially in times of turmoil and strife when they consider their "survival" on the line.

See the New Orleans SuperDome post-Katrina for a modern example of how quickly social order can crumble. WFC is just a microcosm of that social order.

This is it 100% nobody gives an eff about your best work. They take credit for it and that you get a zero rating is really eff’d up. i’m starting to figure out that all my work is from three people up from me. They just pass it down and then take the credit.

It’s really fu---d up!

Managers take credit of your hard work and you take the blame of his mistake. It's been always that way.

Everyone is out for themselves. Remember that when you’re collaborating around the water cooler.

Join us and be part of creating phenomenal apps as part of the Wells family! But be prepared for the irony: a few years later, your newly appointed manager might express disbelief, 'You created that app?' at the layoff meeting. You'll soon realize that your colleagues conveniently claim credit for your work, leaving you feeling invisible in the shuffle.
