I read this elsewhere and wanted to know if it's true:
"[I]f your severance is at least 60 days then it is considered to be in lieu of WARN. WARN isn't really meant to give you supplemental severance it's just to prevent companies from letting you go with no warning and no severance.
Husband got laid off last year and they paid everyone the 60 days in lieu of WARN."
Is this accurate?
